Goal of i CHP
To promote the health and wellness of the community by ensuring all Irvine children have access to affordable health services.

What is i CHP?
A program to assist Irvine families with enrollment into affordable health insurance programs. The City of Irvine, in partnership with the Children’s Health Initiative of Orange County (CHI OC), is here to assist with enrollment into:  Medi-Cal for Children and Pregnant Women, Medi-Cal for Families (Formerly Healthy Families), Kaiser Permanente Child Health Program, Medi-Cal for Adults, Access to Infants and Mothers (AIM), and Covered California.  Each program has different requirements, eligibility criteria and availability. 

How To Get Started
Choose one of the following methods to contact a representative for an appointment:

  • Email CHI OC directly at ichp@cityofirvine.org,
  • Call 949-724-6645, or
  • Complete and submit the Insurance Survey and a CHI OC representative will contact you to follow up.
