IRVINE, CA (May 23, 2013): The Irvine Fine Arts Center will present Wall Painting 2013 on Saturday, June 29 with an opening reception from 5-8 p.m. This is the third exhibition in a series that premiered at the Center over a decade ago and will run through September 7.
The gallery spaces at the Center will be transformed into a distinctive exhibition of wall murals using methodologies in painting, drawing, calligraphy, silkscreen, rubbing, collage and other mixed media.
The public is welcome to observe and interact with the artists as they create their murals at the Center from June 11-28. Please call ahead to see which artists are available. Participating artists include Michael Arata, Joshua Aster, Claire Baker, Barbara Berk, Kristin Calabrese, Jamison Carter, Judy Csotsits, David DiMichele, Carlson Hatton, Flora Kao, Andy Kolar, Mara Lonner, Siobhan McClure, Adam Novak, Greg Rose and Katie Ryan.
