Irvine Fine Arts Center to Host Open House

IRVINE, CA (February 10, 2014):  The City of Irvine Fine Arts Center is hosting a public open house on Saturday, February 22 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Featuring artist demonstrations and facility tours; the event is a perfect occasion for visitors to become acquainted with the Center’s dynamic visual arts programs.

The event also features hands-on activities, art and culinary demonstrations, raffle prizes, food trucks and more.

Situated in Heritage Park, the Center’s 18,000 square foot facility, which opened in 1980, was designed specifically for arts instruction and arts exhibition. A place where people of all ages and skill levels can go to shape and develop their creative talents, the facility is equipped with art studios for drawing and painting, ceramics, photography, jewelry, culinary arts and printmaking.

The Center also offers more than 400 classes and programs to the public each year, along with rotating art exhibitions in each of its three galleries.
