IRVINE, CA (March 5, 2014): The Irvine Fine Arts Center is pleased to present OC Academy, a group exhibition featuring the artistic talents of students and teachers from some of Orange County’s most prestigious colleges and universities.

Throughout history, the symbiotic relationship between students and their teachers has played a dynamic role in art evolution. The academic setting creates an environment where ideas are readily exchanged, creativity is fostered and new developments in artistic practice are explored. OC Academy showcases these relationships and the creativity that stems from student-teacher interaction at the collegiate level.

Gallery admission and the opening reception are free to the public. The Irvine Fine Arts Center is located at 14321 Yale Avenue, Irvine (in Heritage Community Park). For more information, visit irvinefinearts.org or call 949-724-6880.
