IPD Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Commercial Burglary Subjects

Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) is seeking the public’s help identifying two subjects who fraudulently used stolen credit cards to purchase thousands of dollars in gift cards.

Suspect One is described as male, light complexion, 25 to 30 years old, 5’10”, 170 lbs., with brown hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing sunglasses with large black frames, gray pant, a black shirt, chain necklaces, and red shoes with white soles.

Suspect Two is described as male, African-American, age 20s, 6’0”, 175 lbs., with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hat, gray shirt with blue “Nike” text, dark shorts with white text on the left leg, and white shoes with blue laces.

The Suspect vehicle is described as an early 2000s Acura, possibly a CL model, black, 4-door, possibly with 5-spoke alloy rims, dark tinted windows with chrome molding, and no front license plate.

At approximately 10:40 a.m. on June 1, 2016, the two subjects entered a Target on Barranca Parkway and purchased four gift cards each using credit cards stolen from two victims in separate incidents. The gift cards were valued at $500 each. The subjects then exited to store separately, met in the parking lot, and were last seen walking toward the suspect vehicle.
