Nonprofit Licensed Child Care Providers Needed

The Irvine Child Care Project, a Joint Power Authority between the Irvine Unified School District and the City of Irvine, is requesting proposals from licensed nonprofit child care providers interested in operating a school-age child care program at Alderwood Elementary School beginning July 1, 2011.

The selected provider will operate a program providing child care services for children, from kindergarten through sixth grade, utilizing leased space from the Irvine Child Care Project. The program would serve between 70-100 children.

The application period begins Thursday, April 7. Application packets are available at the Child Resource Center, Heritage Park, 14341 Yale Avenue or online at cityofirvine.org. For more information, contact Susan McClintic at 949-724-6697.
