UCI Ask the Doc Forum: Alzheimer’s Disease

Experts from the University of California Irvine Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI MIND) will spend two hours answering audience questions about Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis, treatment, prevention, care and research at Ask the Doc, an open forum being hosted by the Lakeview Senior Center, 20 Lake Road, Irvine on Friday, February 15, from 1-3 p.m.

Following a brief introduction by Dr. Frank LaFerla, Director of UCI MIND, attendees will have the opportunity to ask their most pressing questions about Alzheimer’s disease of expert clinicians and researchers, including:

  • Aimee Pierce, M.D., Neurologist, UCI MIND Memory Assessment and Research Center
  • Malcolm Dick, Ph.D., Neuropsychologist, UCI MIND Memory Assessment and Research Center
  • Cordula Dick-Muehlke, Ph.D., Psychologist and Director of Education, UCI MIND
  • Kim Green, Neuroscientist, Assistant Professor, Department of Neurobiology and Behavior
