Traffic Safety (signs, pavement markings, striping)

 Scott Roseberry, Street Maintenance Supervisor

In coordination with the Neighborhood Traffic Section, the City of Irvine Traffic Safety Program inspects, installs, repairs, and maintains marked crosswalks, traffic control signs, pavement messages, curb markings, street name signs, and roadway striping. Annually the program repaints all school pavement legends and inspects school regulatory and warning signs.

The program also maintains signs, pavement messages, and striping for all City of Irvine bikeways; and provides coordination and traffic control for special events on City roadways.

For information on the installation or removal of signs, pavement messages or curb markings, please contact Neighborhood Traffic at (949) 724-7365.

To report a damaged, faded or missing traffic control sign, pavement message or curb marking, please call Street Maintenance at (949) 724-7600.
