Lost and Found Pets
If your pet is lost please contact the Irvine Animal Care Center at 949-724-7740 and provide a detailed description of your pet and any identification.

If you believe that your lost pet may be at the Irvine Animal Care Center, please visit the Shelter in person to identify and reclaim your pet.  Please note that we cannot verify the identity of your pet by phone or email.  Stray pets are held for seven days before they are made available for adoption. If you find a lost dog and can safely confine it to your home or yard, contact Irvine Police Dispatch at 949-724-7200. The animal will be picked up by Animal Services and transported to the Irvine Animal Care Center.
