Irvine Residents with Disabilities Advisory Board Speaker's Bureau
The Irvine Residents with Disabilities Advisory Board offers its Speakers' Bureau to the public. The primary goal of the service is to educate the public about issues that affect, and challenges that face, individuals with disabillities. The Speakers' Bureau is made up of members from the Advisory Board, many of whom have disabilities, or have a family member with a disability. The speakers are FREEand their presentations are tailored to meet your group's interests and needs. Topics of interest may include:
Living with a disability-a personal perspective.
Disability Etiquette-"How to interact with a person with a disability."
The benefits of hiring employees with disabilities.
Disability- related services offered through the City of Irvine.
