What is an Eligibility List?

If you are successful in passing the testing and interview process, your name will be placed on an eligibility list for the current position opening. The City Department which is attempting to fill the vacant position may elect to second interview some or all of the candidates prior to making a final decision to hire.

After the current position has been filled, the established eligibility list will be retained for 12 months and the remaining candidates will be notified if a position becomes available during that time.
