Nature Center
The City of Irvine's Nature Center is located at the base of the San Joaquin Hills in Turtle Rock. The center serves as a community resource for environmental education and serves as the headquarters for the Open Space staff and all Open Space programming. Group tours of the five-acre preserve are offered on a reservation basis.

Other programs include the Kids and Nature nine-month environmental education and enrichment program for kindergarteners, Badge programs for scouts, pre-school nature classes, and volunteer opportunities.
