Historical Landmarks and Sites
The Irvine Historical Society, which was founded in 1976 to preserve, research, and promote the heritage of the original Irvine Ranch, has actively worked with The Irvine Company, the City of Irvine and the County of Orange to promote the preservation of historical areas. For more information visit irvineranchhistory.com.

The Irvine Historical Museum is adjacent to the Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course Clubhouse, south of the 405 freeway, west of Culver Drive at 5 San Joaquin, Irvine, 92612.    

The Irvine Historical Museum is open Sunday and Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. and by appointment.  It is closed on holidays.  The Museum is staffed entirely by volunteers, so prior to visiting the museum, a phone call is encouraged at 949-786-4112.
