Irvine Historical Society and Museum
The Irvine Historical Society was founded in 1976 to preserve, research, and promote the heritage of the original Irvine Ranch.  The Irvine Historical Museum, which opened in 1980, is operated by the Society.

The Irvine Historical Museum is open Sunday and Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. and by appointment. It is closed on holidays. The Museum is staffed entirely by volunteers, so a phone call to the museum prior to visiting is encouraged.

The Irvine Historical Museum is adjacent to the Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course clubhouse, south of the 405 freeway, west of Culver Drive at 5 San Joaquin, Irvine, 92612.
