Irvine Barclay Theatre is pleased to be able to present a special performance of Comedy Pet Theater to benefit the animals in the care of the Irvine Animal Shelter. Whether you’re a pet lover or just want to enjoy some good, clean fun – see what has everyone’s tail wagging! 

Comedy Pet Theater is a one of a kind, family-oriented blend of unique nonstop physical comedy, juggling, and acrobatics of internationally acclaimed circus star Gregory Popovich. This amazing performer showcases the extraordinary talents of his performing pets, which have been rescued from 26 animal shelters across the country. His menagerie of performing pets include: cats, dogs, geese, ferrets and mice.  

Mr. Popovich is the winner of many International Circus Competitions. A graduate of The Moscow Theatrical University, he is an accomplished theatrical director and producer and starred in several comedy films in the Soviet Union. Mr. Popovich and his pets have appeared all around the world as well as on national television with Jay Leno, David Letterman, Animal Planet, CNN and was a finalist on NBC’s program "America's Got Talent" in 2007.  

The Popovich Comedy Pet Theater has been voted "Best Family Attraction" and "Best Afternoon Show" in Las Vegas! The Popovich Comedy Pet Theater performs regularly at the V Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
