What Your Child Needs to Succeed

The City of Irvine is hosting a community forum on May 23 from 6-9 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center to provide parents with information about basic support, experiences and conditions that all young people need to help them be healthy, successful, principled and caring. These building blocks of youth development are called the 40 Developmental Assets® as researched and documented by Search Institute®.

Nationally renowned speaker and Search Institute educator, Clay Roberts, will discuss the 40 Developmental Assets for children, why these building blocks are important and how to foster their growth.
