Mayor Agran to Present 2002 Citizen of the Year Award

Mayor Agran will present the Citizen of the Year Award at the Irvine Chamber’s Annual Membership Breakfast on Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at the Hyatt Regency Irvine from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.  The cost to attend the breakfast is $45 for members and $55 for non-members.

The recipient of this year’s prestigious Citizen of the Year award is Lucy Walther. Ms. Walther was chosen for her numerous contributions to the community.  She was highly recognized by her peers as the perfect candidate for this award.

The breakfast will also feature Noel Irwin Hentschel, one of the nation’s most prominent entrepreneurs.  Hentschel is the Co-founder of one of America's most successful travel organizations, American Tours International.  In 1998, Success magazine featured Noel as one of their “Top 100 Entrepreneurs,” ranking just above Oprah Winfrey and Martha Stewart.
