Fifth Annual Jack Williams Memorial Golf Tournament

4/25/2004

This year’s event will be held on Monday, June 21, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine. The tournament was created in memory of Jack Williams, a single-leg amputee and founder of the “Learn to Swing Golf Clinic,” which was designed to introduce the game of golf to people with disabilities.

Unlike many golf tournaments, the Jack Williams Memorial Golf Tournament is not about fundraising but rather about building relationships and creating an awareness of how golf has become an equal opportunity sport for people with varying abilities.

Teams are comprised of four players, one of which includes an individual with a disability. The play is scramble format and the $100.00 tournament fee includes: green fees, cart, tee gifts, box lunch and award reception.

We'll look forward to seeing you there!
