Mardi Gras in Irvine!

The Irvine Fine Arts Center will be holding a Family Arts Day-Mardi Gras Saturday, February 5, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Family Arts Day is an exciting annual event where families celebrate the spirit of community by participating in hand-on art workshops. Entertainment that day by the Scarlet Sisters Circus includes stilt walking, acrobats and a hysterical interactive circus show. Artist Mark Leysen, who created a butterfly for the City of Irvine, will be unveiling his butterfly for the first time as it is placed in Heritage Park.  Paul Paiement and Janet Inez Adams, two other artists who created butterflies for Rogers Garden auction will also he here.
