Living with Wildlife

What should you do if you find a baby bird? Are coyotes a danger to house pets? What should you do if a raccoon moves into your attic? The Irvine Animal Care Center is here to help provide answers to these and other wildlife-related questions.

In order to live peacefully and safely with the many species of wild animals and birds who share our city, it’s important to understand their habits and their needs. Irvine Animal Services Officer Kim Cherney presents an informative and entertaining seminar for the whole family on how to get along with—and enjoy—our wild friends!

Living with Wildlife will be offered on Thursday, October 20, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Animal Care Center. Admission is $5.00 per family, and kids are welcome. No reservation is required, but participants are invited to sign up and pay for the class through the Irvine Community Services Department at www.irvinequickreg.org.
