Get Into It! Bommer Canyon

If you've been waiting for an opportunity to get an up close look inside beautiful Bommer Canyon, this is your chance! During this free, drop-in event, the Open Space staff will host a day of open trail access, fun and exploration. A docent led mountain bike ride, guided hike, and crafts for kids will highlight this event. Bring along a picnic and enjoy the day outdoors!

Trails and facilities will be open to the public from 8am-1pm. Mountain bike riding will be limited to a docent-led ride beginning at 8:30am. The East Fork Trail will be open to hiking from 8am-1pm and the West Fork Trail will be open to hiking after the mountain bike ride is finished.

In addition to self-guided trail access, a naturalist-led hike will be offered at 11:00am. Other activities include a scavenger hunt, a kids craft station, volleyball, and horseshoes. The Cattle Camp picnic area will also be available.
