Irvine Child Care Committee Seeks Applicants

The City of Irvine is currently accepting applications to fill two parent representative vacancies on the Irvine Child Care Committee. Comprised of 13 members, the Committee performs in an advisory capacity to both the Community Services Commission and the Irvine City Council by identifying child care needs, early care and education concerns, and evaluating the availability of quality, affordable child care within the community.

Applicants must live in the City of Irvine and be willing to commit to a two-year term of active participation. Committee meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 8:45-10:15 a.m. at the Irvine Civic Center.

Applications are available at the Civic Center in the Community Services Department or online, click here to download. Completed applications must be received by the Community Services Department by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30. Mail completed applications to City of Irvine, Child Care Coordination Office, P.O. Box 19575, Irvine, Calif., 92623.
