Senior Job Fair 2008

The City of Irvine Senior Services, in partnership with the Orange County One-Stop Centers and the Employment Development Department, presents "Soaring to New Heights,"  a Senior Job Fair on Saturday, September 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lakeview Senior Center, 20 Lake Road, Irvine.   

Approximately 30 employers will be on site looking to fill a variety of full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent employment positions in the areas of retail, customer service, office work, reception, data entry, food service and health care. The Senior Job Fair also features career workshops covering tips for resume writing, interview techniques, effective job searching and more.

Applicants are encouraged to dress professionally, and bring a supply of resumes. If you are looking for part-time work or additional income, you won’t want to miss this one-stop job fair. There is no cost to attend.
