| News Details | Handmade Quilt Raffle to Benefit Irvine’s Adopted 2/11 Marine Battalion10/10/2008 Help bring cheer to the families of deployed service members this holiday season by purchasing a raffle ticket to win a beautiful, handmade quilt. Sponsored by Irvine’s 2/11 Adoption Committee, the Americana "Fourth of July" Quilt Raffle, is being held to raise money to host a holiday party for family members of 2/11 personnel currently serving in Iraq.
Designed and named by Irvine resident Yoshi Oster, the handmade quilt is 41 x 64 inches or roughly the size of a twin blanket, with a red, white and blue motif.
Raffle Tickets: $5.00 for one ticket, or $20.00 for five tickets.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase beginning Tuesday, October 14 through Thursday, November 7 at the following locations: - Irvine Civic Center - Reception Area
