Wall of Recognition
Community Partner
Assistance League of Irvine
The Assistance League of Irvine has served the community of Irvine for more than 20 years. Largely known for its charitable endeavors including having provided new school clothing and other necessities to nearly 10,000 Irvine children over the years and scholarships to deserving local parents enrolled at Irvine Valley College, this group has also contributed to a number of other local charities such as Families Forward and Human Options. The Assistance League of Irvine has also produced and sponsored the annual Young Masters Art Show for the past 20 years in conjunction with the City and school district. This is all accomplished due to the dedication of approximately 125 local volunteers and over 100 teenagers who comprise the Assisteens auxiliary. More than 225,000 service hours have been contributed to the Irvine community by Assistance League of Irvine and the Assisteens of Irvine. Most of the income for their philanthropies is derived from the Thrift and Gift Shop and grants from the City.
