| Wall of Recognition | | | Justice David Sills | | | Distinguished Citizen | | | Presiding Justice David G. Sills led a remarkable life. He was an acclaimed jurist, a courageous veteran, a respected mayor (Irvine) and an exemplary leader and presiding judge of California's 4th District appellate court. Known as a consensus builder and a gifted writer, he was the author of more than 2,400 majority opinions during his 20-year tenure at the one of the State's busiest courts. He was the Chair since inception of the Irvine Health Foundation and served on the Dean's Advisory Board at UCI Law School. |
