The City of Irvine appreciates the service of the following honoree:
| Wall of Recognition | | | Dotsie Bausch | | | Distinguished Citizen | | | Dotsie is an Olympian cyclist who won a silver medal at the 2012 London Summer Olympics. She is also a seven-time USA Cycling National Champion and a two-time Pan American Champion. Before becoming a cyclist, Dotsie overcame a difficult hurdle of personal struggles with substance abuse and an eating disorder. Cycling was her way to recover from her illness as well as a means to find a new passion in her life. Dotsies story is inspirational to everyone who has experienced personal challenges. Being a native Kentuckian, Irvine is proud and privileged to have a resident such as Dotsie. |
