Jacquie Ellis Warren
Distinguished Citizen
Jacquie Warren retired after 25 years of distinguished service at the Irvine Chamber of Commerce. She became the President and CEO of the Irvine Chamber in June 1989. After serving in various positions with the chamber since 1984, she retired in 2009. She is admired for her many contributions to the business community. Under her leadership, the Irvine Chamber grew to become a premier business organization with over 1,000 local companies as members. The Irvine Chamber is dedicated to serving as an advocate for pertinent issues affecting the local business community, while serving as a vehicle to promote business and community development in Irvine. In 2002, Mrs. Warren was named as one of Ten Women Making a Difference in Orange County by OC METRO magazine. She served as the 1996 Chairman of the Western Association of Chamber Executives and was the recipient of the 2003 Executive of the Year Award the highest honor bestowed by her peers. A native Oregonian and a former corporate gypsy she has lived in most geographical areas in the United States. She adopted Southern California as her permanent home, moving to Irvine in 1982.
