This outstanding turnout was supported by Pronto Auto Wash, Chick-Fil-A, Jersey Mike's (Von Karman location), Papa John's, Janny's Donuts, Albertsons, Sprouts and members of the IMAC Advisory Committee. Volunteers pitched in from Lion's Heart and teenagers from the local community. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Alberstons of Irvine for sponsoring the race Recovery Zone and to the 100 OC Sheriff’s Academy Recruits who ran the race in formation. A fun time was had by all. | | Albertsons Cookie Drive February 1-14, 2013 Local Albertsons stores participated in a Cookie Drive ending on Valentine's Day. More than 1200 bags of fresh baked Albertsons Cookies were decorated with messages of love and gratitude. It was an engineering feat to fit that many cookies into a van for the ride back to Camp Pendleton, but with Marine determination and knowhow, they succeeded! The Marines were really happy to receive the delicious treats and messages. | Store Directors (Pictured left to right) Ron Hobbs (Jeffrey & 5) Johnathan Fernandez (Irvine Blvd) John Lewis (Quail Hill) Marines from the 2/11 Ed Hamada (Campus Plaza) Carlos Torres (District Manager) Rick Griffen (Culver & Alton) | Highlights for 2012 In September, The Committee celebrated its 5th Anniversary of Operation and will be added to the City of Irvine's Wall of Recognition located in Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park.
