Interested in a job as a lifeguard this summer? This water-based course will prepare you to prevent and respond to emergencies in and around the water. There is an in-water portion. Please bring a towel, goggles and swim suit.
Successful completion of course earns American Red Cross certification in Lifeguard Training, First Aid and CPR/AED for Lifeguards. Ages 15+

Prerequisites:

Swim 300 yards continuously
Tread water for 2 minutes using only legs
Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds.
